Legal and Financial Planning Needs for Students with Disabilities
As the direction of Medicaid and SSI becomes difficult to predict and benefits often prove inadequate, it has become critical for parents to plan for the future of their child or dependent with special needs. This workshop covers financial planning and legal Issues, including wills, guardianship, trusts, trust funding options and the protection of benefits such as Medicaid and SSI. Presenters are Gordon Homes, CFP® with Mass Mutual Special Care, and Bob Fechtman, of Fechtman Law Office, specializing in disability and elder law.
Pizza and drinks will be provided. Families of students of any age are welcome to attend.
