Darci Wilson from Vocational Rehabilitation will present a session to help families understand the basic components of the Voc Rehab system, and the process of working with Voc Rehab for obtaining employment or training services for students transitioning to adulthood. Learn more about referral, eligibility, services available, the employment planning process, and more. Gordon Homes of Metlife Center for Special Needs Planning will present our second feature of the evening, giving parents information they will need to know to plan for the financial future of their child or dependent with Special Needs. This Workshop covers Legal Issues, including Wills, Trusts, Special Needs Trusts, and Guardianship. Financial Issues, such as Special Needs Trust Funding, Medicaid and SSI. Family Issues, including Letter of Intent and Family involvement in the process.
