In October we are hosting Melissa Harness and Amiee Taylor from Beyond the Label. Melissa and Amiee will be presenting information about challenging behavior. We’ve had this topic a couple of times recently, but parents always seem to enjoy hearing different perspectives and getting new tips and hints on managing through some difficult times with our children! The presentation will cover the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis, and take a look at various types of problem behaviors, the function of those behaviors, and what tools parents can use to make a change in behavior.
This presentation will be hosted in both Greenfield and Shelbyville in October. The Greenfield schools are on Fall Break next week, but we are still having our meeting at the school. As always, we will have a light meal before the presentation begins, so please register at the link below so we can have enough food for everyone.
