March Parent Meetings

In March FUSE will host Jodi Maslanka from Buttermilk Mountain to lead an interesting discussion. Buttermilk Mountain hosts educational and fun events for families with special needs, and they have been holding round table discussions on what’s missing from the special needs community.  What can Buttermilk Mountain provide that other organizations are not providing?  Come on out and join the discussion!

One of the ideas Buttermilk Mountain is implementing is that parents of children with special needs don’t know what to do when, so they put together a Time Line.  Parents can check off what they’ve already accomplished, and Buttermilk Mountain will notify them when it is time to take the next step and help them find the resources needed.  We hope you will join us to talk about gaps in services and programs for kids with Buttermilk Mountain. Wondering about the name?  Maslanka means buttermilk in Polish.
