June Family Picnics

In June for the past few years we’ve replaced our regular parent meetings with family picnics instead.  Families seem to enjoy this time after school ends to just relax and spend some informal time together, so it’s officially an annual tradition now!

FUSE will provide hamburgers, hot dogs, buns and paper products. Families will each pitch in a side dish and a small dessert item. We will plan to eat first and after the meal families are invited to stay around and socialize while the kids run and play or just enjoy the park atmosphere.  Feel free to bring outdoor games or sporting equipment that your family would like to play or share with the group.

Please  spread the word to other families you know who might like to learn more about FUSE! The picnic will be a great informal way to meet other families and learn about how FUSE can help their family with information and support needs.

The dates and locations for the family picnics are:

Monday, June 2
6:30 to 8:30 pm
Riley Park Picnic Shelter
Apple Street & US 40
Greenfield IN 46140

*Please note the Shelby County picnic is on a SUNDAY to help accommodate some of our families whose schedules conflict on Mondays

Sunday, June 8

The playground at Kennedy Park is a fully accessible playground designed for kids of all abilities to play together, so please spread the word to other families in Shelby County and encourage them to attend!

The picnics will replace our regular meetings, and we take July off at both locations, so the next regular meetings at our usual locations will be in August.
