On Saturday July 29th, the Indiana Federation of Families for Children’s Mental Health will host their 2017 statewide conference, “The Ultimate Road Trip: Raising a Child with Special Needs.” This is an event for all Hoosier families with children with mental, emotional or behavioral challenges where you will hear from speakers who have walked the walk as parents and consumers. There will be workshops where family members can learn more about mental health conditions, ways to make life better for your children and yourselves, and how to work with schools and other public institutions to provide the best services available. Family scholarships are still available.
